MEET DR. OLSON
In his youth, Ed Olson suffered from a dental
condition that brought him frequently to the dental office. His
early exposure to the intricacy and the artistry of dental treatment
sparked a life-long interest in dentistry, one that has culminated
in over 25 years of clinical experience. Dr. Olson's passion for
technical excellence and pursuit of creative expression led him
to a specialty in prosthodontics, where he now combines art and
science to restore natural teeth and replace missing or weak teeth.
Area dentists and physicians confidently refer their patients with
advanced dental conditions to Dr. Olson.
A native of St. Paul, Dr. Olson launched his work in dentistry at
the University of Minnesota, where he graduated from the School
of Dentistry and completed a two-year prosthodontic residency. He
then moved to the St. Cloud area in 1976 to open his practice.
Along with offering quality patient care, Dr. Olson contributes
to his profession as a member of several professional associations,
including: American College of Prosthodontists, American Dental
Association, Minnesota Dental Association, West Central District
Dental Society, and St. Cloud Dental Society.
Dr. Olson has presented professional lectures to the Minnesota Prosthodontic
Society, the St. Cloud Dental Society, and other state and local
dental meetings. Area colleges have also benefited from his work
as a clinical instructor at the University of Minnesota School of
Dentistry, and as an annual guest speaker at St. Cloud Technical
College Dental Assistant program.
Dr. Olson has received the Crown and Bridge Award from the Minnesota
Academy of Restorative Dentistry, as well as the C.V. Mosby Crown
and Bridge Award, in recognition of his laboratory technique and
clinical excellence.
